De acuerdo con el antropólogo y lingüista estadounidense Allan Burns, la narrativa maya se basa en un ejercicio dialógico en el que el narrador requiere de una respuesta de sus interlocutores para continuar su relato. Por tanto, y en sentido lingüístico y ontológico, la autoría de las historias y de los recuentos de los mayas yucatecos tiende generalmente a ser plural y colectiva.
Mi intención al crear este blog es poder narrar mi historia y visión del mundo en conversación con otras formas de ver, entender y habitar este planeta. Abrirme al mundo pero dialogando desde una posicionalidad maya antropológica distintiva.

According to U.S. anthropologist and linguist Allan Burns, Mayan narratives are based on a dialogic dynamics in which the main narrator requires the feedback of his/her "listeners" in order to be able to continue his/her performance of the story. Therefore, both linguistically and ontologically, the notion of authorship of the stories and/or actual event's accounts among the Yucatec Maya tends to be plural and collective.
By creating this blog my main goal is to communicate my history and world view in conversation with other ways of seeing, understanding and inhabiting this same planet. To open up to the world while dialoguing from a distinctly Mayan anthropological positionality.
